What is Career Coaching?
To help you understand exactly how a career coach can help, I want you to consider these questions: Do you feel inspired and challenged by the work you do? Have you reached an impasse and need help planning your next career move? Do you know how to articulate your particular value and skills? Need someone to show you how to break into the GLAMR sector (Galleries, Libraries Archives, Museums and Records Management)?
A Career Coach can help with all these things and more.
Who needs one?
Well, I kind of answered this question in the first paragraph didn't I? But let me add one more thing. Coaching is a one-on-one activity that promotes self-discovery, creativity and a new outlook on your personal goals. Add a Career in front of the Coach and you will gain the clarity and confidence you need to move forward with your professional goals.
What you get
Career Coaching is very dependant on what you need. So I use your input and what you want to achieve to guide each session. I do use the methodology of personal branding to bring out a more confident you but I'm not adverse to using coloured pens and paper to help you visualise your goals either.
The basic pathway of Career Coaching sessions include:
- An initial consultation to determine your expectations and a timeline for future sessions.
- One hour sessions over a month or three month period.
If you’re interested in discussing how Career Coaching can benefit you, fill in the form and I will get back to you.
Better articulate your value and skills, career goals and develop a roadmap to achieve them.
